What is your tipping point?

Change is hard for everyone. Even when you want to make the change there is a certain degree of anxiety that comes along for the ride. Often we do not make a change, especially a significant one, until we reached a tipping point.

When it comes to weight loss the tipping point can be so many different things. But what I generally find is that it usually is a series of smaller things that pile up and then something else happens and that is it…you reached your tipping point. Some say it is the straw that broke the camel’s back.

So what are some of those things?

  • clothes getting too tight
  • getting winded when doing even the simplest things
  • having to stop and catch breath when walking in from car to a store
  • not being able to keep up with your children
  • having chronic heartburn
  • being told by your doctor you have a disease such as diabetes or high blood pressure
  • having sleep apnea

Most people will live these issues until it gets to be too much.  Until they are ready change there is nothing anyone can do to change their mind.

Are you one of these people?  Are you living with any of these issues?  Let me ask you this…WHY?  Why are you willing to limit your life?  Why don’t you value your health? You have the power to change your life.  It does not have to happen all at once.  You can change one thing at a time and before you know it you will be developing healthier habits that can add years onto your life.

So what is holding you back?
